Welder Fabricator Offering £14.00 - £17.00 per hour (39-hour week contract) plus Overtime and Benefits. Our client is an established manufacturer of machinery and equipment, based near York. Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting a Welder Fabricator to join their busy workshop. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday – Friday offering flexibility on start/finish times each day. The successful Welder Fabricator will receive support, guidance and on-the-job training. Welder Fabricator Responsibilities:
  • MIG Welding & Fabrication of steel to a high standard.
  • Working from detailed engineering drawings.
  • Checking quality of completed work is of a high standard.
  • Be able to solve problems and make decisions when needed.
  • Follow day-to-day production plans to meet deadlines.

Purchase Ledger Assistant (12 Month Contract) Offering £24,000 - £25,000 Basic Salary Pro Rata plus Benefits Our client is an established manufacturing facility based in the Harrogate area. They are now recruiting a Purchase Ledger Assistant (12 month fixed term contract) to support their finance team. Purchase Ledger Assistant – Key Responsibilities • Oversight and monitoring of business spending and company purchases. • Checking invoices against receipts with scrutiny to ensure that all products and/or services purchased are delivered. • Raising purchase order numbers and dealing with invoices without these. • Post all supplier invoices to the ledger (on Sage 200 software), ensuring they are matched to purchase orders where applicable and coded to the correct nominal ledger code and supplier account. • Create new supplier accounts ensuring all relevant information is entered on the supplier record including the bank details for payment and payment terms. • Preparing and processing payments via BACS or cheque. • Awareness of how much money is owed, and to whom, at all times. • Maintaining existing and creating new supplier accounts. • Reconciliation of supplier statements. • Monitoring petty cash and expenses. • Reconciling and processing all company credit cards and checking statements. • Handling any purchase enquiries or disputes with suppliers. • Filing invoices and statements, keeping records of all products and services purchased with company money. • Maintaining strong business relationships with suppliers. • Monthly reconciliation of supplier’s statements. Purchase Ledger Assistant – Skills & Experience • The ideal candidate will have experience of working within an accounts function. • Experience of purchase ledger highly desirable. • Good data inputting skills and excellent attention to detail. The Purchase Ledger Assistant position is offering £24,000 - £25,000 basic salary pro rata plus benefits. This is a part-time 12 month contract, working 22.5 - 37.5 hour per week – flexible working times available, to be based onsite in Harrogate. Quality Engineer - 6 Month Contract – York, North Yorkshire Offering Circa £45,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary Our client is an established manufacturer with a proven track record gained within the Construction industry. Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting a Quality Engineer (6 Month Contract) to review their quality performance across two key areas; Product Design & Manufacture and Onsite Installation & Service. Quality Engineer – Key Responsibilities • To our drive to improve our quality performance. • Review our client’s current processes and quality performance in the relevant areas. • Identify focus improvement areas and conduct RCA’s. • Identify containment and corrective actions and support the implementation. • Identify and suggest solution to process inadequacies. • Advise on future Quality initiatives that would support further quality improvements.
