Our client is a dynamic IT Services company based in Halifax, West Yorkshire. The company provide a range of IT Services covering, Internet Services, Technical Consultancy Services and Pro-Active IT Support. These services are provided to companies across the whole UK. The existing customers ranges in size from Micro businesses to 50+ user organizations. Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting an IT Support Engineer to join their established technical support team at their office in Halifax.

IT Support Engineer – Responsibilities
• Creation and resolution of IT Support tickets raised by customers daily
• Fault finding and investigating customer queries and technical issues
• Assisting with the development of the existing PSA / RMM systems
• Assisting with customer onboarding process
• Day to day responsibility for internal IT systems

IT Support Engineer – Technical Requirements
Excellent technical support experience gained in an IT service desk environment with a solid understanding of:
• Microsoft Desktop and Server products
• Microsoft 365 solution stack
• SonicWALL firewalls and switches
• Backup product technologies, Backup Exec, Datto, Veeam
• Anti-Virus technologies, Virus identification and remediation
Be an effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills
Able to work both on your own and as part of a larger team
Comfortable managing your own tickets and assist team members with their tickets
Able to work to tight deadlines and service SLAs
Have a good understanding of general business processes and workflows

The IT Support Engineer position is offering £26,000 – £28,000 basic salary plus benefits for the successful candidate. Full-time, permanent, office based Monday to Friday.
